DecafPay allows businesses to send payments to multiple recipients through a simple disbursement program.
Follow the following steps or watch a video guide:
1. Create a Business Account
To get started, create a Business Account by signing up at DecafPay.
2. Start a New Disbursement
From the main menu, select 'Disbursements' and click 'New' to start a new disbursement:
3. Download and Complete the Payment Template
3.1. Download the payment template provided by DecafPay:
3.2. Fill it out with the amount to be paid and the recipient's preferred payment method.
The available payment methods are:
Email
WhatsApp
Stellar wallets
💡Type is only for Pago Móvil, Memo is optional for Stellar transfers, Reference is optional for your internal tracking, and Amount is the USD amount to send.
Once the template is complete, upload it to your disbursement.
4. Add More Recipients
After uploading the payment template, you can still add additional recipients directly from the main dashboard.
💡 You can also search for recipients by their username, in case they already have a DecafPay account.
5. Confirm the Disbursement
Review the recipients and payment information, then press 'Bulk Send' to confirm the disbursement.
6. Monitor Your Payments
After confirming the disbursement, you can monitor the status of each payment from the dashboard.
Select 'View details' to see additional information about individual transactions.
7. Cancel a Payment
If you need to manage a payment that has not yet been claimed, you can cancel it from the payment details.
Click on 'View details', then, pulse 'Cancel'
💡 This can be particularly useful when a recipient has not claimed their payment and you no longer want the payment to remain available.
8. Pause a disbursement
You can pause a disbursement at any time while it’s running.
9. Export a report
And export a report with all the disbursement details.
How Do Recipients Receive Their Payments?
Recipients can receive their payments through one of three methods:
WhatsApp
Email
Stellar wallet
💡 When receiving via WhatsApp or Email, the recipient will receive a notification that they have received funds. The message will guide them through the steps to claim the payment, including creating a DecafPay account.
Once claimed, they can use their funds via card, bank transfer, or cash withdrawal.
