When an application has started, Decipher automatically generates a unique link for that application/client. This unique link ensures security and allows the prospect or lender to continue that application. This Continue link helps avoid creating Duplicate applications.
When do you need the link to continue an application?
Prospects - When a prospect has started an application or is accessing their portal, they will automatically receive an email with the link to continue that application and they can access that link anytime. However, prospects sometimes lose the email, can't find the link, or sometimes they will start another application and then don't know which is the correct link.
Lenders - On the lender side you can start an application and choose not to send a link until you are ready to do so. Now you need the link to send to the prospect so they can continue the process, drop documents, etc.
In both of these cases, follow the instructions below.
Step 1: Navigate to the desired application
Step 2: Click on the Email button
Step 3: Choose the Email template that contains the Application Link. This is usually called "Application Link" or "Portal Link".
Step 4: Ensure the link to continue the application is contained in the Email by scrolling through it.
Step 5: Send the Message. You will see the word "continue" at the end of the link.
