For lenders who work with outside Sales, outside BDOs/Partners/Syndicates and other collaborators who need temporary access to Decipher, you can grant/revoke access to a specific application at any time. Follow the steps below to Grant/Revoke access.

GRANT ACCESS

➡️ Step 1: Navigate to the desired Application.

⚙️ Step 2: Click on the Gear on the Upper Right Hand corner of the Application's detail page.

✍️ Step 3: Fill out the appropriate fields. Pay particular attention to the type of Access Role you select for this individual as certain roles may be restricted from certain areas of your deals or may have access to viewing ALL deal information. Check with our team via chat support if you have any questions on the level of access and what the desired individual role is able to view prior to assigning the person.

📫 Step 4: Decide whether the individual should receive an automated email invitation to log into Decipher and view an application. This auto message will need to be preset in advance in Email templates. If you are unsure if your account has this email template set up, proceed without this option and you can always invite them later by clicking on the Blue Arrow ⬆️ under Actions.

Step 5: Click Grant Access. The individual will receive an email inviting him to login and reset their password and will be able to view this application and any other applications shared if access is allowed.

REVOKE ACCESS

➡️ Step 1: Navigate to the desired Application.

⚙️ Step 2: Click on the Gear on the Upper Right Hand corner of the Application's detail page.

⛔️ Step 3: Click Revoke Access. The user will no longer be able to view this application. However, if they have active access to other applications, they will be able to view those.

The Revoked button should now appear next to the individual's name.

🎉 Success!
