Manage the global permissions for each role within Decipher

If you have Admin access, you will be able to Edit Role Permissions. These permissions are global ones, and will affect all users with that role. See the Guide Below.

Manage Role Permissions

πŸ‘€ Navigate to the Upper Right Corner in Decipher and Select User Settings. Click on the Tab "Role Permissions". Select a Role and then Choose the Global Permissions that Role will be allowed.

Menu Permissions

Menu Permissions determine what menus the role will be able to see in Decipher. If not selected, the feature will be not be visible to that role.

Menus in Decipher:

Applications – Applications in the pipeline.

Team Inbox - new feature in Decipher (not available in all accounts)

Clients – Details on companies, business owners, contacts, vendors, etc.

New Clients – Create new clients.

Contacts – List of all contacts.

Products – Configuration of your financial products and pricing.

Business Analytics – Data, insights, and metrics.

Application Templates – Preview, Copy Weblink, Edit application templates. Specific application templates can be selected to restrict certain roles.

Business Relationships – Advanced feature for adding external partners.

Document Manager – Document and Email Templates.

Document Groups – Edit document groups.

Leads - new feature in Decipher (not available in all accounts)

πŸ’‘ Application Templates: if no application templates are individually selected, then all application templates available are visible as default. When would you need to use this? You have several sales teams working different financial products exclusively and you only want them to be able to select one product/application and work with that one.

Application Permissions

Application Permissions determine what actions can be performed in Decipher for that role. If not selected, the action will be not be permitted for that role.

Move Applications – Move applications from one stage to another.

Change Assigned – Change the individuals assigned to an application.

View Assigned - View the individuals assigned.

Evaluate Applications – Allows running credit/background reports.

Read-only Access – Can only view information read-only.

Edit Application Settings – Ability to edit application template settings.

Lock Applications – Ability to lock/unlock applications.

View Bank Account Numbers - Ability to view bank account numbers (bank connection)

Send Emails - Ability to send emails.

See Email history - Ability to see email history.

Print Application Report – Print out application data. Not needed if specific Credit Memo or Summary document is used.

Advanced Features – Ability to see advanced features.

Features – Access/Restriction from viewing certain features.

πŸ’‘ New User Default Pipelines: if applicable, you can choose specific pipelines to view for new users with this role. Select all that apply.

πŸ’‘ Modules: option to display sub applications, if your account has the feature. Please inquire with support prior to adding any modules.

πŸ’‘ Advanced Features: advanced tabs such as pledged collateral, pricing and tax monitoring. Please inquire with support for these advanced options.
