Add a PFR to your farm so that anyone adding activities in Farm At Hand can use them

Use Pre-Formatted Recommendations (PFRs) to quickly add a combination of products to activities. Create your PFRs on the web first and then you'll be able to use them when creating activities in the Farm At Hand mobile app.

Navigating to your PFRs

  1. Sign into mfm.ag and go to your farm

  2. From the Farm Settings dropdown, select Pre-Formatted Recommendation

🏢 If you're a company member and want to manage the PFRs for your company, simply go to mfm.ag, go to your company page, and go into the Pre-Formatted Recommendations tab

🔍 Use the search bar at the top of the page to easily find which PFR you need

🔻 Use the downwards arrow to the very left of a PFR in the list to show all of the products for that PFR

Manage PFR

Create a PFR

  1. In the Pre-Formatted Recommendation page, click the + Add New PFR button

  2. Enter information such as the PFR title, type, products, and tank mixing instructions and recommendation notes

    1. You can have a max of XX products in the product list

    2. When you use a PFR in an activity, you'll still be able to edit the PFR's information for that particular activity

  3. Click the 💾 Save button!

➕ For a product to appear in the list, create the product in the Crop Inputs page (learn more)

Edit a PFR

  1. In the PFR page, click the ✏️ pencil button for the PFR you'd like to edit

  2. You're able to edit any of the PFR's information

  3. After you're done making changes, don't forget to click the 💾 Save button

Delete a PFR

  1. In the PFR page, click the ✏️ pencil button for the PFR you'd like to delete

  2. Click Delete at the bottom right of the popover

  3. Click Ok to confirm deleting the PFR

    1. Be sure that you've selected the correct PFR and that you're sure you'd like to delete it - once you delete it, it cannot be restored!

Add PFRs to an activity

Once you've created PFRs for your farm, they can now be used on the mobile app by any farm members who have permissions to add activities. Launch the Farm At Hand app and follow these steps:

  1. Start adding an an application activity

  2. At the bottom of the activity form, click + Add a PFR

  3. Tap the PFR you'd like to add

    1. Use the search bar to find a specific PFR by name

    2. Use the filter button to find PFRs by type

  4. Confirm that all of the added information is correct - the products added, mixing instructions, recommended notes

  5. Tap Save
