What is Script to Video?
Script to Video automatically turns text content such as blog posts, articles, and scripts into AI-generated videos. Based on your input, AI can create a video-ready script. Once you select production options such as a template, media, avatar, and voice, your video is automatically generated using your script and settings.
You can also use your own script as-is, making it easy to turn existing text into a video or restructure it into new video content with AI. No video editing experience is required.
How to Use Script to Video
Step 1. Open Script to Video
There are two ways to start using Script to Video.
Option 1. Start directly from Script to Video
Go to Apps in the left-hand menu of AI Studios. Under the YouTube & TikTok category, find and click Script to Video.
Option 2. Start from the main dashboard
Paste your script into the text input field on the AI Studios dashboard.
Make sure Script to Video is selected as the tool.
Select the primary purpose of your content: TikTok/Shorts/Reels, Business, or Education.
Click the arrow button to continue.
Step 2. Enter and Configure Your Video Script
Paste your video script, blog post, article, or notes into the input field. You can enter up to 15,000 characters.
After entering your text, choose how you want to use it.
AI-generated script: AI uses your content to create a new script optimized for video.
Use my own script: Uses your script exactly as entered without rewriting it. Scenes are created based on paragraph breaks in your text.
Content Settings
When using AI-generated script, you can customize how the script is generated in Content Settings.
Language: Select the language for your video.
Duration: Set the desired video length.
Speed: Set the narration speed.
Prompt: Choose how you want the input content to be structured.
Audience: Define the primary audience for your video.
Tone: Set the tone and style of the script.
To review and edit the generated script before creating your video, select Review and edit the script before generating the video.
Step 3. Review and Edit the Script by Scene
You can review the scene-by-scene script created from your input and edit each scene before generating the video.
How scenes are created depends on the script option you selected.
AI-generated script: AI analyzes your input, restructures it into a video-ready script, and divides the content into multiple scenes.
Use my own script: Your script remains unchanged, and scenes are divided based on paragraph breaks.
Review the content, make any necessary edits, and continue to the next step.
Step 4. Configure Video Options
Once your script is ready, configure the media, template, avatar, and other video options.
Media Settings
Choose the media source to use for each scene.
Search: Find media related to the content of your script.
Free Stock: Use free stock images and videos.
Premium Stock: Use premium stock images and videos.
Generative: Generate images or videos with AI based on each scene's script.
If you select generative media, choose between AI Image and AI Video, then select a generation style that fits your content.
To use higher-quality AI media, enable High-quality AI media. The amount of generative credits required may vary depending on the options you select.
Template and Avatar
Select the template and avatar you want to use in your video. You can also choose a landscape or portrait aspect ratio for the template.
To create a video without an avatar, select Voice only.
Once your settings are complete, continue to the next step.
Step 5. Preview and Edit Your Video
The preview shows a draft video based on your selected options. Review the media and script applied to each scene and make changes as needed.
Select a scene's media thumbnail to replace the media. You can generate new AI media or choose from stock media, uploaded media, or search results.
If you selected generative video
During preview, you can only see the image that will be used for each scene; the generative video has not been created yet. The generative video is created when you start exporting and can be viewed in the completed video.
After reviewing the preview, choose one of the following actions.
Export: Start generating the final video with your current settings.
Editor: Open the video in the AI Studios Editor for more detailed scene editing instead of exporting it immediately.
Change Options: Reconfigure previously selected options such as media, template, and avatar.
⚠️ Be careful when changing options.
Changing options may remove generative images that have already been created, and generative credits will be charged again when new media is generated. Review your existing results before changing options if you want to keep the generated media.
Step 6. Generate the Final Video
After reviewing the preview and scene settings, click Export to start generating the final video. Your selected template, avatar, voice, and scene media will be applied to the final video.

Once generation is complete, you can review and download the finished video.
Video generation may take some time.
Generation time varies depending on factors such as script length, number of scenes, and media type. In particular, videos that include generative video may take longer than videos using standard media because AI video generation is processed as part of the export.
