The video above might be slightly outdated but would still provide valuable information.
How to Create a Voice Clone in AI Studios
Step 1: Find the Voice Clone Feature
You can access Voice Cloning in two ways:
Option 1: From the video editor
In the script editor of your video project, click the [Model] – Original Voice dropdown in the top-right corner.
At the bottom right of the voice menu, click the Voice Cloning button to start the setup.
Option 2: From the main dashboard
Go to the AI Studios dashboard and click on the AI Voices tab in the top menu. From there, select Voice Cloning as one of the available features.
Step 2: Record your voice
Click Start Recording when you're ready. You’ll be asked to record a 10 to 30-second voice sample.
You can use the provided sample script or say something that feels natural to you
Try to speak clearly, at a steady pace, in a quiet space
You can also choose to upload a file if you have one on hand.
Step 4: Preview and name your voice
Once you’ve finished recording, play it back to check the audio quality.
If you're happy with the result, give your voice a name
We recommend including the speaker’s name and tone, such as "Jamie Smith – Calm"
Step 5: Review the checklist
Before submitting, go through the built-in checklist to make sure your recording meets the requirements.
If needed, you can re-record until you're satisfied
When ready, click Voice Synthesis to generate your custom voice
Step 6: Use your voice clone
After synthesis is complete, your new voice will appear under the AI Voice menu in all your video projects.
Using Your Voice Clone in Multiple Languages
Once your voice clone is ready, you can use it to speak in any of the 150 supported languages. Just type your script in the language you want. AI Studios will automatically detect it and apply your voice clone with the correct pronunciation.
No need to manually set the language
Your voice will sound like you, even when speaking in languages you don’t know
