Up until now, you could see only one metric in one widget, which made comparing two metrics against each other more challenging.

With this new feature, you can select two metrics in one widget that will allow you to compare your results on a whole other level.

Why should I care

  • Get clear and simple insight on how your critical KPIs perform against each other.

  • Have a clear understanding of how your two KPIs develop over time.

  • You’ll save many clicks that would come with comparing your results in individual widgets, and we know how precious your time is!

How does it work

  1. Go to your dashboard

  2. Create a new development widget or choose an existing one

  3. Above the graph, you can see two columns - select the two KPIs you want to compare against each other

  4. Choose between 3 different graph types - column chart, line chart, area chart

*In case you need to remove one of the metrics, simply click on the column of that metric and press Remove Metric.

Pro tip how to use it:

One of the most effective ways to use this feature is to compare costs and rates. For example, it can be Cost Per Click vs. Click Through Rate. Optimally, you would want to have both lines develop at a similar pace, and it’s okay if they cross each other. An indication for you to start optimizing is when your CPC keeps increasing, and your CTR continually decreases.

Another way to use this feature can be to find out if the impressions you buy still delivered on results you’re optimizing for - for example, link clicks. If link clicks don’t follow the same curve as the impressions, you may want to rethink your budget allocation.
