Billing for Charging Sessions - DejaBlue

Updated over a week ago

At DejaBlue, we have developed a simple, efficient, and secure billing system for your charging sessions. Leveraging Stripe’s infrastructure, our solutions enable centralized payments, seamless transaction management, and strict compliance with security standards. Our objective is to streamline the charging experience for your customers while providing you with powerful management tools.

Principle

When a user pays for a charging session at a DejaBlue station, the payments are processed through Stripe. This allows us to:

  • Provide a smooth and professional payment experience through optimized payment interfaces.

  • Secure financial transactions through a recognized, PCI DSS-certified payment infrastructure.

  • Simplify the management of recurring payments for frequent users.

  • Ensure reinforced compliance with regulatory standards.

As stated in the operating agreement, the end user pays a 10% transaction fee to DejaBlue. This fee covers Stripe’s transaction costs and ensures the maintenance of DejaBlue services. Here’s a concrete example:

Transaction Example:

  • User pays: €10

  • Company receives: €9

  • DejaBlue receives: €1 and pays Stripe fees from this amount

Setting Up Payments

To activate payments, you must create a Stripe account through the DejaBlue platform in the "Pricing" section. Here is the required information:

  • Beneficiary business bank account

  • Administrative information of the establishment (SIRET, address, etc.)

  • Legal representative’s name (e.g., CFO) + ID card of the representative

Once your account is validated by Stripe, you can start receiving payments for your charging sessions.

Billing

You can choose the frequency of transfers to your bank account (daily, weekly, or monthly). For each transfer, we issue two distinct invoices:

  • Recharge Remittance Invoice (issued by DejaBlue on behalf of the charge point operator, e.g., MBWS)

  • DejaBlue Transaction Fee Invoice (issued by DejaBlue for payment management fees)
