Publish a Menu

Learn how to publish menus to your stores

Publish new or existing menus to your stores.

To publish or republish menus, go to Deliverect Restaurants, and select Menus in the sidebar.


Publish a menu to a store for the first time

Step 1. Select the menu and choose Publish .


Step 2. Select the stores and then the Publish button .

You can search for stores or select the Filter button to find specific locations, location groups, channels, menus, or schedules.


Step 3. Confirm by selecting the Publish button. You can check the status by going to the Operation reports page. The time it takes for your menu to be published to your stores varies.


Republish menus

Have you made changes to a menu and want to send over the latest changes to your store? If so, you can republish the menu instead.

Step 1. Select the Republish button.


Step 2. Select the stores and then the Republish button .


Step 3. Select the Publish button to confirm. You can check the status of this action by going to the Operation reports page. The time it takes for your changes to be shown on your stores varies.


Technical and Access Issues

  1. Addressing Browser Compatibility:

    • Verify that you have publishing access. Typically, this option should appear if you have the required permissions.

    • Log out of Deliverect and log back in.

    • Try using a different browser (e.g., Firefox instead of Chrome) to check if the issue is browser-specific.

  2. Resolving Greyed-Out 'Publish Menus' Button:

    • Missing location configurations like opening hours can block publishing. Set the required configurations for affected locations.

    • Publishing may be disabled if the sales channel linked to the menu is in 'Onboarding' or 'Suspended' status. Ensure onboarding is completed or suspension is lifted.

  3. Permissions and Role Access:

    • If you cannot see the option to publish menus, your role may lack permissions. Request an administrator to update your permissions.

  4. Troubleshooting Missing 'Republish' Option:

    • Click the three-dots menu in the Menu section's right-hand corner.

    • Refresh your browser session or log out and log back in.

    • Ensure you have sufficient permissions to manage menus.

Validation and Menu Completeness Issues

  • Check your menu for completeness and correctness. Use the menu validation function in Deliverect.

  • Watch out for common errors such as missing menu images, products as separate modifiers, deleted products in the menu, pricing discrepancies, or overlapping availabilities.

  • Correct any errors found and attempt to publish again.

Step 1. Log in to your Deliverect account and go to Menus.


Step 2. Select the Publish menus button.


Step 3. A new screen will appear. First, choose which menu(s) you want to publish.

Some channels support publishing multiple menus (e.g. seperate menus for delivery and pickup). Incompatible channels will be greyed out.


Step 4. Select the channels you want the menu published on.


Step 5. Select the Publish Menus button.

Alternatively, select the Publish All Active Menus button to quickly publish menus currently in use by your channels. A confirmation window will appear stating which menus will be published to each channel.
