Explain the DXF export option in Deve

Delve makes it possible to export DXF files of design options. These files are accessible by navigating to a design option and selecting the arrow next to “Download Data”. There are additional exporting options available, including 3D Rhino files, Excel data tables, and Images for use in other software.

The exported DXF file can be opened natively in Autodesk software or imported into alternative editing tools, including Rhino, Illustrator, and other 2D drafting software.

Content of The Export

  • Layers for each exported use type. Common examples include:

    • Residential

      • Units

      • Roof profiles

    • Commercial

    • Retail

    • Parking

  • Layers for exported context include the following:

    • Parks

    • Streets

    • Existing Buildings

    • Water Features
