Delve also measures the ground floor area used by the generated buildings. This measurement takes the current footprint, measured as the profile of the building at ground floor, and extracts the area used. These values are added together to get the collective ground floor area used within the design.

This measurement does not reflect zoning, setback, streets, or other ground plane interventions generated by the Delve tool. Additionally, below-grade Gross Area will also be excluded from the calculation.

Note: this should not be confused with [Total Gross Area], which measures the cumulative area generated within Delve buildings
