You can add a new code for use in your project in three main ways:
From the Snippets page
From a Transcript page
From the Code Details page
Below are step-by-step instructions for each method.
Note: By default, new codes are top-level. You can organize or nest codes later by following the steps in the article here.
Add a Code from the Snippets Page
First, click Snippets in the left-hand menu. The Snippets page will display all snippets from your project’s transcripts.
On the far right, locate the Codes panel.
In the Search box at the top of the Codes panel, type your desired code name. Click Add Code: [Your Code Name] to create the new code. The code will now be available for use in your project.
Add a Code from a Transcript Page
First, click on a Transcript in the left-hand menu. The Transcript page will open, displaying transcript content.
On the far right, locate the Codes panel.
In the Search box at the top of the Codes panel, type your desired code name. Click Add Code: [Your Code Name] to create the new code. The code will now be available for use in your project.
Add a Code from the Code Details Page
Open the Code Details page. For more information about how to access the Code Details page, see the FAQ section below.
On the Code Details page, click the plus (+) icon in the bottom left of the snippet. In the Filter box at the top of the menu, type your desired code name.
Click Add Code: [Your Code Name] to create the new code. The code will automatically be applied to the selected snippet and will now be available for use in your project.
