If your research is on hold, or you don't have an active research project, you can pause your Delve subscription and avoid getting charged for the next month.

Pausing a subscription is essentially the same as canceling a subscription. Once you're ready to restart your research you can renew your subscription.

All your data will stay in Delve for up to one year so you can resume your research when you renew your subscription later.

Step 1. Click your name to access Accounts

Step 2. Click 'Manage Subscription and Billing'

Step 3. Click 'Cancel Subscription'

Step 4: Renewing Your Subscription

Just as when canceling, you'll simply need to go to the accounts page. From there, locate and click on 'Manage Subscriptions', and you'll find the 'Renew Subscription' option. Follow the prompts to successfully renew your subscription and regain access to Delve's comprehensive suite of services.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's) About Pausing Your Delve Subscription

Q: What does 'pausing' a Delve subscription mean?

A: When we refer to 'pausing' a Delve subscription, we mean canceling your subscription with the intent to renew it at a later time. This is useful when you don't need the service for a period of time.

Q: If I pause my subscription, will my data be deleted?

A: After canceling your data will not be immediately deleted. Delve retains your saved data for at least a year after you pause (cancel) your subscription. You can renew your subscription within that time frame and regain access to your saved data. However, we always recommend exporting and backing up your data before canceling, to ensure you have a personal copy of your information.

A: Yes, Delve allows you the flexibility to pause (cancel) and renew your subscription as often as you need. However, please note that when your subscription is paused, you lose access to Delve.

Q: Will I have access to Delve when my subscription is paused?

A: No, when you pause (cancel) your Delve subscription, you will lose access to the Delve interface, including the ability to view and edit your analysis. However, rest assured that Delve retains your data for at least a year. You can restart your research by renewing your subscription within this period. Remember, we recommend exporting and backing up your data before pausing your subscription.
