When starting a new project, it can be helpful to use an existing set of codes from another project. Delve allows you to copy a set of codes from one project into another.

Here are the steps to copy codes into a new project:

  1. Go to your project list by clicking the downwards arrow on the top left-hand side of Delve.

  2. Find the row that contains the existing project whose codes you want to copy.

  3. Click the 3 dots on the right side of the row

  4. Select "Copy Codes Into New Project"

A new project will be created with a duplicated set of codes.

Note: While codes are copied into another project, the codes are not connected between projects. Changing the code in 1 project will not change the code in the other project.

Create And Re-Use Code Templates

If you often run research projects that use the same set of codes, we recommend creating an empty "Template" project and adding your initial codes to it. Then you and your teammates can copy codes from this project into a new project with this initial set of codes.

Note: Projects with more than 100 codes cannot be duplicated. Please reach out to us if you need to duplicate a project that has more than 100 codes.
