We understand that qualitative coding can be overwhelming and it may be tempting to find a solution that can automate it for you.
But Delve doesn't automatically code or analyze your data. Instead, it can make the coding process more manageable for you to do yourself.
When you use Delve, you have access to free, easy to follow resources that show you step by step how to do the coding.
For example, here's a 30 minute webinar that outlines how to set up your project, and go from creating initial codes to writing your final report.
You can find the direct link here: https://youtu.be/FMh_2Q2t6kA. Our YouTube channel has a variety of other helpful videos as well, catered to the methodology you want to use.
But what about Delve's AI features? Can those automatically code for me?
Delve has AI services that can help give you another set of eyes to review your work and help you come up with ideas, but it's not replacement for doing the coding yourself.
You still have to learn the fundamentals of qualitative coding. Think of AI like a research partner that is there to help look over your coding, provide feedback and assist you.
But without your own foundational understanding of qualitative coding, AI can hurt your process more than help it.
If you are unfamiliar with the coding process, or brand new to qualitative coding, we highly recommend you learn how to code without AI first. Then, use AI to help assist what you already know how to do.
If you want to learn how to use AI responsibly and effectively in qualitative research, watch our 30 minute webinar here:
You'll see that it's not a fully automated process. Instead, AI is like a research collaborator by your side.
