In order for me to be able to understand your appointment statuses, you need to complete the Appointment Status Normalization.

It's VERY IMPORTANT to complete this step - when it's set up incorrectly or not at all, I might not recognize when patients schedule and keep their appointments.

This can lead to patients getting messages that they shouldn't, or not getting messages they should.

To set this up, click Settings >> New Patient Scheduler:

Match each type of appointment status to either Missed, Scheduled, Completed, Rescheduled, or Cancelled.

If none apply, then leave it blank.

These are different than treatment statuses!

Appointment Statuses are applied directly to the appointment itself, not to the patient.

For example, when a patient keeps or misses an appointment, you'll change the appointment status to reflect that - I'll read that status and update it in my desk.

If you're not familiar with your office's appointment statuses, somebody from your scheduling team should able to help you!

If you're having trouble figuring it out, please reach out to my human assistants through the live chat and they'll help you out.
