Following up with long-term Pending patients

Since my Pending Followup is for only for patients whose last appointment was in the last 30 days, my Legacy Blast (LB for short) is for long-term pending patients!

TIP: set a reminder to send a Legacy Blast every 3 months!

That way patients will keep getting reminders to start treatment until they start or say they aren't interested.

They can't get more than 1 per 60 days (I'll keep track of this) so the list will continue to change as patients respond over time.

Alright, let's jump into it - click Blasts:

Ignore my New Blast on the left for now since we're talkin' 'bout my LB - so click it:

*All time wins - a running count of patients who have scheduled treatment after getting the LB!

You will see these patients highlighted in red in details of your blasts in the LB History.

Click Create List, then apply Treatment Status and date filters like so:

As you can see at the end there, once you've created your group you can click Review to check out the list of patients, Review Messaging, and send the blast.

*NOTE: I can only send 100 texts at a time!

If your filters pull in more than 100 patients, I'll divide them into groups - you'll need to send the blast to each group individually.

However, if you do a search and there are "No patients found", adjust the filters and try again!

A few rules to keep in mind:

  • Patients can't be in any type of follow up already

  • Patients cannot have been part of a Legacy Blast over the last 60 days

  • Patient must have one of the Tx Statuses that you choose from the "Modify List" section

  • Patient must have a last visit date within the date range that is chosen from "Modify List" Section

Okay, moving on!

Click Review:

This is where you can...

  • View/edit your list of patients (to deselect, click the blue checkmark to the left of each name)

  • Change language to Spanish (drop-down menu to the right of each name)

  • Select the team member (bottom right)

Messages are pre-made and can't be edited, meaning less work for you! You're welcome 🥳 Click Review Messaging (bottom left) to view templates:

Once you click Send, I will send a text (as seen in Review Messaging). 1 week later, I will automatically send an email to any patient who didn't respond to the text.

If you would like to review your LB history, you can do so on the main page. Click Details to the right of each previous blast for more info:
