How to create customized messaging sequences

I have default sequences for follow up, lead up, and appointment reminders so you can start using them right away.

My default sequences get results, but they aren't customized to your office or patients needs.

Take engaging with your patients to the next level by creating your own custom sequences!

You can repeat this process anywhere you have the option to create a custom sequence, but for this example, I'll show you how to make one for follow up:

For follow up sequences:

Click Settings >> Ava's Communications >> Ava's Follow Up >> Category Tab (ex: No Show) >> "Add new Sequence":

For reminders:

Settings >> Ava's Communication >> Ava's Lead-Up >> "Add New Sequence"

In the window that opens, give your sequence a title, then click "Add":

Yay! πŸŽ‰ look at you and your brand-spanking-new sequence. Click on it to start adding messages:

Click "Add Content":

Choose the "Type of Step" you want to add, and the day/time you want me to send each message to your patients!

Once you've done that, click "Add Step":

Now you can write your first message - try to avoid being spammy, which could cause your number to be blocked by service providers 😬

Save your sequence after writing each message so you don't lose your work - we've all been there!

I suggest that you start with a 1-day message, so patients start getting messages the day after being put in follow up, but it's your call.

Also, just to make sure that patients will get your messages, mix it up with texts, emails, and call notifications.

Not every patient will have a phone and email on file, so make sure to mix it up with emails and texts so nobody is missed!

Now rinse 'n repeat this process, adding as many messages and notifications as you want until you're happy.

Select Treatment Statuses

Once you've created a sequence, you will need to tell me who to send it to!

Your Tx-statuses are listed on the right-hand side of the page. Click the ones you want the sequence applied to.
