Unfortunately, DeployGate prohibits changes for the following names.

  • Username

  • Organization name

  • Workspace ID

Please note that all of these names must be unique. Additionally, Organizations cannot have the same Organization name, even if they belong to different Workspaces.

However, it is possible to modify the “Display name.”

The Display name can be either English or Japanese. If no Display name is specified, the Username, Organization name, and/or Workspace ID (3 or more alphanumeric characters) will be displayed.

Changing the Display Name

Users

Go to “Account Settings” > “Profile” and enter/change your preferred name in the “Display Name” field. This name will be visible to other users in the Organization. Click on the “Save Changes” button.

Organizations

Go to “Organization settings” and enter/change your preferred name in the “Display name” field. This name will be visible to members of the Organization and the Workspace. Click on the “Save Changes” button.

Only Owners (members on the Owners Team) can perform this operation.

Workspace

Go to “Admin Console” > “Settings” > “Profile” and enter/change your preferred name in the “Name” field. This name will be visible to members of the Workspace. Click on the “Update profile” button.

Only members with Administrator privileges can perform this operation.

※ To change your Username, Organization name, and/or Workspace ID, you must create a new account and delete the original User, Organization, and/or Workspace.

If you are on a paid plan, you must cancel it before you can delete your account.
