If the message, "This application is not installable on the device" is displayed when an application is uploaded to DeployGate, it’s possible that an unsigned APK file was uploaded.

APK files uploaded to DeployGate (and installable on Android devices) must be signed.

Please note that for the Release builds, unsigned APK files are created by default, so it is necessary to modify the settings to create signed APK files.

Files with Debug signatures can be distributed with DeployGate (Note: These files also cannot be distributed using the Google Play Store). For information on signature settings, please refer to the official documents.

Once the APK file has been signed and re-created, please re-upload the file to DeployGate.

For any other development-related issues and questions, please join the DeployGate’s Slack team.
