Your payout schedule determines how often and when Stripe transfers the money you’ve earned to your bank account.
What Is a Payout Schedule?
A payout schedule defines how frequently Stripe sends funds from your Stripe balance to your linked bank account. Stripe offers different payout options depending on your country, account type, and risk level.
There are typically three types of payout schedules:
Daily – Funds are sent every day, with a rolling delay (e.g. 2–7 days after payment).
Weekly – Payouts are grouped and sent once per week.
Monthly – Payouts are grouped and sent once per month.
Some countries or businesses may also have manual payouts, where you choose when to transfer available funds.
How to Change Your Payout Schedule in Stripe
Follow these steps to change your payout schedule:
Step 1: Log In to Stripe
Go to https://dashboard.stripe.com and log in with your account credentials.
Step 2: Access the Payout Settings
In the left-hand menu, click on “Settings” (gear icon at the bottom).
Under the “Business” section, click “Bank accounts and scheduling” (or “Payouts” in some accounts).
Step 3: Edit the Schedule
You’ll see available options such as daily, weekly, or monthly payouts.
You can select your preferred payout frequency.
Things to Keep in Mind
Payout delays vary depending on the country and industry (e.g., 2–7 business days for standard delays).
Changing your schedule may not affect pending payouts that were already initiated.
Some businesses may be restricted to certain payout frequencies based on risk or compliance.
