The Desert of Maine Campground is the perfect place to host a wellness retreat, company meeting, family reunion, alien nanotech conference, or whatever other else floats your boat.
For larger groups seeking to book 10 or more cabins or glamping tents, we can help set up a group reservation for you to save you time, help answer questions, and to give you flexibility for when the payment is due.
Payment - Large group reservations can either pay as a group, or have each guest pay individually. You will need to know which option you prefer at the time of booking. If you choose to pay as a group, 50% is due at the time of booking and the balance is due 30 days before the reservation date. If each guest will pay individually, no deposit is required, however, all reservations must be fully paid 30 days prior to the reservation or they will be cancelled.
Cancellation Policy - Group reservations are subject to a 30-day cancellation policy. Any cancellations within 30 days of your reservation date will not be refunded regardless of weather, illness, or other circumstances. It is normal for things to change in a big group reservation, we just ask that we firm up numbers at least 30 days in advance.
Group Discounts - We offer a 10% discount for groups of 10 sites or more. Please message us for the discount code!
Quiet Groups Only - Groups that choose the Desert of Maine for their gathering must be committed to preserving the calm and relaxing experience that all our guests come here for.
Small Groups
Groups seeking to book fewer than 10 cabins or glamping tents together can reserve by simply booking multiple sites through our website (one at a time) at https://book.desertofmaine.com – you don’t need to coordinate with us. Refer to our campground map to see which cabins and glamping tents are closest to each other, however, even the furthest apart are just a short walk from each other.
Amenities
Coming in 2026, we will have new amenities to better serve bigger groups.
Outdoor Kitchen - Stone countertop, propane grill, refrigerator, and sink
Group Fire Pit Area - Stone fire pit with lots Adirondack chairs and picnic tables for hanging out
Spa - Coming in 2026 will be a new group sauna building, stone plunge pool and hot tub, massage building, cold plunge tub(s), and comfy outdoor furniture under a pergola around a propane fire pit for handing out. It will be an incredible place to unwind. (Anticipated opening in mid-June 2026)
Activity Center - Coming in 2027 (🤞) will be a 30ft glass dome for meetings, yoga classes and more.
