Follow the steps below to add a Client Portal Login link to your website.
Step 1. Open the Invite Clients panel
Log in to your DesignFiles account and look towards the upper right. Then click Invite Clients, located to the left of the search bar.
Step 2. Select “Client Login Page"
In the window that appears, choose Client Login Page under Which Page Do You Want to Share?
This option provides a universal login link clients can use at any time.
Step 3. Copy Your Client Portal Link
Click Copy to copy your unique Client Login URL.
Step 4. Add the Link to Your Website
Go to your website builder and create a new navigation item titled Client Portal Login.
Most designers place this link in the top-right corner of their site header for easy client access.
Paste the link you copied from DesignFiles into this button or menu item.
That’s it! Setup complete!
What Your Clients Will See
When clients click your Client Portal Login link, they will land on your branded login page:
If your client already has login credentials
They simply enter their email and password, then click Login to access their project dashboard.
If they haven’t set up a password yet
They can click Request Instant Access Link and enter their email to receive a secure one-time login link.
Note: This login page will display your logo and brand colors as long as you’ve added them in Account Settings → Branding.
