Adding Clients to a Project

There are different ways to invite a client to a project.

Essentially, the traditional way you assign a client to a project is by submitting content to them. So if you have designs ready to share, you would click the button on the design board page that says: Share

If you were sending an invoice or a quote, you would prepare the invoice/quote, then click the button at the bottom of the invoice or quote that says: Send Invoice/Quote.

That will launch a panel where you can select your client from the 'Recipient' dropdown list. If your client does not show here because they have not been added to the system yet, you can select the option to 'Add New Client'

By submitting content to a client, they are then assigned to the project.

However, if you do not wish to share anything with the client just yet or do not wish for them to have access to anything just yet, you can still add them this way...


1. Click on Share as shown in the previous instructions.

2. Click in the field to add an email address, enter the email address, and click on the "X" on the top right of the box. This keeps the email address added, but doesn't invite the client because you didn't send it.

This option will add them for you to see, but they won't have been invited and will not have access.
