While we don't currently have a tool that will allow you to change the fabric of an item, you can import a customized version of the product to your DesignFiles account that you can use in your designs.
Follow the steps below to import a customized version of the product:
STEP 1: Go to the vendor's website and open the product detail page of the item.
STEP 2: Most vendors now include the option on their website to customize the fabric and finish of the product.
STEP 3: Customize the item on the vendor's website and then use the DesignFiles browser clipper to save that customized version to your DesignFiles account where you can use it in your design boards.
If the vendor does not display or carry the specific fabric you would like to customize the item with, you can choose to do the following:
Create a simple moodboard design that includes the image of the product and an image of the fabric swatch. You can then use the text tool to add a note indicating to the client that you are recommending this fabric for the item.
TIP: If you want to use an image of an arrow in your design like the sample moodboard above, just google hand-drawn arrow in google images. You'll find loads of options that you can save to your computer and then manually upload to your personal library and use them in your design boards.
