Some vendor websites block clippers (like the Add to DesignFiles) from opening due to something called “Content Security Policy (CSP)”.

Here’s a workaround to ensure that you can use the browser clipper even if the page that you are trying to load has its CSP enabled.

Installing the Disable CSP Extension

If you are using Google Chrome, install this extension that will allow you to clip from these websites. If you are using a different browser, you can download Google Chrome Here.

Click the link below to download the Disable Content-Security-Policy extension:

After clicking the link above, you will be directed to the chrome web store. Click the Add to Chrome button to install this extension.

A Confirmation message will appear on the screen, click Add extension to continue.

Using the CSP Extension

After installing the Disable Content-Security-Policy extension, try loading the Add to DesignFiles clipper on the website which you are having trouble with.

1. Go to the product page of the website.

2. On the upper right corner of your browser, find and click the CSP Extension icon.

3. If this is the first time that you visited the product’s website, click the browser’s Refresh icon to reload/refresh the page.

4. Click the Add to DesignFiles from your Bookmarks and see if the clipper comes up. If it doesn’t come up, refresh the page one more time. If the issue persists, please contact us for further assistance.
