Cause

This error occurs when an invoice is trying to sync to QuickBooks Online from DesignFiles, but a product or service on the invoice has been deleted in QuickBooks Online.

In other words, one of the items (products or service) on your invoice was previously listed on QBO but has since been deleted or made inactive.

Resolution

To resolve this, you will need to locate and restore the product or service in Quickbooks Online.

1. Go to the Sales menu on the left panel, then select Products and Services.

2. Click the filter dropdown and select "inactive"

3. When it displays the list of inactive products and services, look for any product or service that is currently listed on the invoice in DF. Then go back to QBO and restore the item by selecting "make active" in the drop down list for that item.

Once the associated products and/or services have been restored in QBO, the invoice in DF should sync successfully.
