How to Attach a Document to an Invoice

Sometimes you may want to attach a document to a quote or invoice. You are now able to do this from within the quote/invoice itself. This can be done for both new and existing quotes and invoices.

Step 1. Create a new quote/invoice or Edit an existing one.

Step 2. Once you are within the edit view of the quote/invoice, scroll to the bottom to locate the "Attachments" section, just below the "Notes" field.

Step 3. Click on "Add an Attachment".

Step 4. When the file browser window pops up, locate the document on your computer that you would like to attach, select it and then click open.

Step 5. You will see the successfully uploaded document just below the "Add an Attachment" section.

You can now go ahead and send the quote/invoice as usual.

When your client views the quote/invoice, they will note the attachment to the lower left. They can then click to view the attachment and/or download it.
