How to use Grouping Tool in Moodboard Editor

The grouping function can be very handy when you need to move or reposition multiple items that partner together.

For instance, if you would like to reposition a sofa with cushions, the grouping function makes it so that you do not have to move each one separately then try to re-align them as they were before.

To move an item as a group, follow these steps.

Step 1. Click on one of the items that you would like to move together

Step 2. Hold the "Shift" key on your keyboard then click on all the other items you would like to move together.

Step 3. Release the shift key, then reposition your grouped items as you wish.

After selecting both cushions and the sofa, you are now able to move all three items together on the canvas.

Step 4. Lock them together. You can now lock these items together so that you do not always need to use the shift key to group them before moving them around the Canvas. With all items selected, locate and select the group tool.

If you would like to unlock the items, simply click on the group and then select the group tool once more.
