The package discount implementation is an easy two-part process. It requires you to first enable discounts on the packages and also ensure an active discount code is available to share with your clients.

If you have already set up your packages and are ready to implement discounts for your clients, jump to Part A.

If you have not yet set up your payments and packages page, click here for instructions.

Part A - Enabling Discounts

Step 1. Go to your packages page: https://designfiles.co/payments

Step 2. Scroll to the package for which you would like to enable a discount or promo code and then turn the toggle on to Enable Discounts. Once it's on, you will notice the "Configure" option available.

Step 3. Select "Configure". This will jump you to your packages discounts page showing all the discounts that you have made and highlighting which ones are currently active. Please note that a discount code may be active, but still not accessible to a client if they choose a package that doesn't have discounts enabled.

Part B - Creating and activating Discount Codes

Step 1. Select "Create Discount"

Step 2. Give the discount a name, the promo code that will be shared with the client, and the percentage in savings that your client will receive.

Step 3. Save your Discount.

Just a note that you will have the option to edit, delete or change the status of any saved discount on this page. You can do this by selecting the 3-dot menu and choosing the appropriate option.

Ensure that your discounts are active if you would like your clients to be able to use them. Feel free to turn them on and off throughout the year as you wish.

Double Checking your Package Discount

Now that it's all set up. Go ahead and check out how it appears and works for your clients.

Step 1. Go back to your packages page (click on the 'Packages' tab at the top of the page and then click the button that says "Manage My Packages).

Step 2. Double check that the discount is enabled, then scroll to the bottom of the page and select "Preview Packages Page"

Step 3. Choose a package that has the discount enabled and go through the steps until you reach the step where you would input the payment details.

Step 4. You should see an area for the discount code that you created in Part B Step 2.

Select it. This is where your client will input the promo code you shared with them to get a deal on this package.

Step 5. Enter the discount code and then click Apply

You should now see the discount applied as well as the cost your client would pay if they used the discount code on that package

This feature is available on our eDesign and Full-Service Plans.
