The DesignFiles Website Shortcut App icon will bring you directly to the website when selected. This can be done on your Android or Apple device.

Android Mobile Devices

Here are the steps for adding the website shortcut icon to your Apple device.

Step 1. Open Google Chrome on your device and then navigate to https://designfiles.co/

Step 2. Select the three-dot menu in the upper right-hand corner, then select the "Add to Home Screen" option.

Step 3. You will then see a pop-up with the website name and slogan. Select the "Install" button to confirm.

Step 4. A confirmation will flash across your screen briefly to confirm that the app has been installed. Navigate to your Home Screen to view and use the icon to easily access the DesignFiles website on your mobile device.

Android Troubleshoot

If you receive a message that says the shortcut wasn't added because your Home Screen is locked, slide your finger down from the top of your device screen to locate the settings button (cogwheel in upper right)

Locate the Home Screen tab and click on it. Then locate the toggle that says "Lock Home Screen Layout" or anything similar and turn it off. Then re-do the steps above.

Apple Mobile Devices

Here are the steps for adding the website shortcut icon to your Apple device.

Step 1. Open the Safari browser on your device and then navigate to https://designfiles.co/

Step 2. Select the share button in the upper right-hand corner, then select the "Add to Home Screen" option.

Step 3. You will then see a pop-up which allows you to "name" the icon. DesignFiles will likely auto-populate. Select the "Add" button to confirm.

That's it, you will now see the DesignFiles web shortcut icon on your Home Screen.
