At DesignFiles, we aim to provide you with a seamless and secure payment processing experience via Stripe. To maintain our services and support your payment transactions, we have a fee structure in place. We believe in transparency and want to ensure you have a clear understanding of how our processing fees work.

Credit Card Processing Fees:

When you choose to accept payments via credit cards, you will incur processing fees. Our credit card processing fees are as follows:

2.90% of the transaction amount: This is a percentage-based fee calculated on the total transaction amount. For example, if a customer makes a payment of $100 using a credit card, the processing fee for this transaction would be $2.90.

$0.30 per transaction: In addition to the percentage fee, there is a flat fee of $0.30 charged for each credit card transaction. For instance, if you process five separate credit card payments of $50 each, the total flat fee for these transactions would be $1.50 ($0.30 per transaction).

These fees cover the costs associated with processing credit card transactions, including payment gateway fees, fraud protection, and other operational expenses.

ACH (Automated Clearing House) Processing Fees:

For US-based customers who prefer to pay via ACH, we offer an alternative payment method with the following fee structure:

Full Service Plan Members:
0.8% of the transaction amount with a cap of $10. For example, if a customer submits a payment of $10,000 through ACH, the process fee would be $10 total.
****Just a heads up that if you switch to the 2-day settlement option in your Stripe Account (vs. the standard settlement time) it will void the $10 cap and instead charge 1.2% of the payment value.****

To double-check or change your settlement settings, do the following:
Visit: https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/payment_methods

Scroll down to "Bank Debits" and then click on the expansion arrow beside"ACH Direct Debit"

Click on "Configure" and then under "Settlement Timing" you can select "Standard Settlement"

Legacy Plan Members (Starter/Professional/Team):

1.1% of the transaction amount with no cap. This fee is a percentage of the total transaction amount. For example, if a customer submits a payment of $10,000 through ACH, the processing fee for this transaction would be $110 total.

We understand that payment processing fees are an important consideration for businesses. We strive to keep our fees competitive while providing you with top-notch payment services and security.

If you have any questions or need further clarification regarding our processing fees, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team. We are here to assist you and ensure that your payment processing experience is as smooth as possible.
