Enable ACH Payment Method on Stripe

Written by Cole Mackin

If you are a US-based Stripe user, you can receive USD payments directly from a customer’s bank account through Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments, in addition to credit or debit card payments.

Enabling ACH Direct Debits via Stripe:

1) Log into your Stripe Dashboard.

2) Once logged in to Stripe, open up your Payment Method settings page.

3) Scroll down to the "ACH Direct Debit" section and click on the drop-down selector and set it to "On":

4) Next, open the Configure Online Payments page on DesignFiles.

5) To finalize the update, click the [Disconnect from Stripe] button, then click the [Connect to Stripe] button to re-establish your connection and update it with the new payment method.

After completing these steps, your account will be set up to accept both ACH and credit card payments on your invoices.
