You can customize your windows and doors with either a wood finish, a paint color, or any other texture that you prefer.

Step 1: Customizing the Window Finish

  1. Select the Window:

    • Click on the window you wish to customize.

  2. Open the Window Finish Options:

    • On the right-side panel, locate the options for "Window Finish," "Frame Finish," and "Hardware Finish."

    • Click on "Window Finish."

  3. Choose a Texture or Color:

    • In the library that opens, you can select from a variety of paint colors or wood textures.

    • For a wood finish, go to the "Wood" section and choose your desired stain.

    • Apply the selected wood stain by clicking on it. The window will update with the new finish.

Step 2: Customizing the Window Frame

  1. Open the Frame Finish Options:

    • Click on "Frame Finish" in the right-side panel.

  2. Apply the Same Texture:

    • To maintain consistency, you can use the "Recents" library to quickly find and apply the same wood texture you used for the window finish.

    • Select the wood texture from the "Recents" section and apply it to the frame.

Step 3: Customizing the Hardware Finish

  1. Open the Hardware Finish Options:

    • Click on "Hardware Finish" in the right-side panel.

  2. Select a Finish:

    • Choose a hardware finish from the available options, such as gold or black.

    • Apply the finish by clicking on it. You can always change it later if needed.

Step 4: Applying Finishes to All Windows

  1. Apply to All Windows:

    • On the right-side panel, select the option to apply the selected finishes to all windows.

    • A panel will appear, allowing you to choose whether to apply the finish to just this room or to all rooms in a multi-room floor plan.

    • Select the appropriate option to apply the finish.

Step 5: Customizing Doors

  1. Select the Door:

    • Click on the door you wish to customize.

  2. Open the Door Finish Options:

    • On the right-side panel, locate the options for "Door Finish," "Frame Finish," and "Hardware Finish."

  3. Choose a Texture or Color:

    • Follow the same steps as for the window to select and apply a wood texture or paint color to the door.

    • Use the "Recents" library for consistency in texture application.

  4. Apply to All Doors:

    • After customizing the door and frame finishes, click "Apply Selected Finish to All Doors" and select the appropriate option to apply the finish to all doors in the room.

Additional Options: Paint Colors

  • If you prefer to use paint colors instead of wood textures, you can find various paint collections in the main library.

  • Choose from four different brands and apply the desired paint color to your windows and doors.
