Relocating GPS Pin on Location Question

Allow the user to manually override their GPS location

First, this functionality is not enabled as a default, so that means any location question you create will default so the user cannot move the location pin on a location question (same as the previous functionality of the location question).

To enable this functionality, first, create or navigate to a Location question which you would like to enable the feature:

Then, on the question options to the right, click the check box for "User can manually override".

Once you have done that, make sure you save the form and you are complete with enabling the function. Next, you'll be shown how to move the GPS pin from a user perspective on the device side.

When answering the location question on a device, the first option will still ask to use the device location. Here is how the form looks once you have determined the device location:

Next, click on the generated map. It should look like this: 

To move the GPS pin, press and hold the bottom of the pin. While still pressing down on the pin, move your finger around the screen to move the pin location to the new desired location. It should look like this:

Once you have the pin positioned in the desired location, click the back button in the top left to return to the form. Your new location will be updated for the Location question.
