In the "Dispatches" tab you will find all of the forms which have been Dispatched to your device. These are usually forms which have pre-populated answers that need to be completed.
They can be dispatched to your device from the Device Magic Dashboard, a different device, or 3rd party software you have connected to Device Magic via our API.
Once the form is Dispatched, it shows up on the device with the form partially completed. Answers already populated in fields in the form and you can either update those answers or simply complete the form. This is handy for things like inspection approvals or parts requests among others.
Viewing Dispatch Locations on the Mobile App:

Dispatched forms that include Locations will have a map icon in the Dispatches tab.
To view the Dispatch locations on a map, click the Map icon at the top of the screen.
You will then be directed to a map that shows the Dispatch locations represented by numbered pins.
Click on a pin or a dispatch in the list below the map to select the dispatch. Then click "Open" to open the dispatched form you have selected.
Swipe left and right across the tab to toggle between entries. By clicking "Get Directions", the Maps app will open and the directions to the dropped pin will populate.
To navigate away from the map and back to your list of Dispatches, click the List icon at the top.

Dispatch was updated:
Dispatch values can be updated after they're already been sent to the device using the Dispatch API.
If the device user has already started filling out the dispatch and saved it as a draft, then they will see the message below when the dispatch is updated via API.
"Dispatch was updated. This draft is for an outdated dispatch version. If you open it, you will not be able to submit it. You can still read the answers"
As this draft is an old version of the form, that is no longer required by the Management console admin, they'll have the option to view the draft, or delete it.
It will not be possible to submit this old dispatch draft version, as it will no longer have the correct dispatched values required by the admin dispatcher.
