This might be done via kanban board applications view or by changing the status via API. The kanban board workflow is non-linear, so you can move applications back to other statuses on it if needed. For example, suppose your team manually reviews all Rejected/Approved applications and decides some of them require further investigation. In that case, they could be moved back to a different status (if your Status rules and other configurations do not block it).
Please note, that changing the status from Rejected/Approved to any other can be done neither inside the application itself, nor within the table applications view.
