You can choose exactly when the Gift Box pop-up opens on your site.
Set auto-open behavior
In your Shopify admin, open the Gift Box app.
Go to Settings.
In Gift Box Behavior > Auto-open:
Check the triggers you want (e.g., open on first visit, on cart page, or when a customer becomes eligible for a free gift).
Optional: set a delay (in seconds) before the first auto-open after the app loads.
Click Save.
Hide the pop-up
In Settings > Gift Box Behavior, turn off Show Gift Box launcher to hide the pop-up across your site, then click Save.
Important notes
Hiding is not recommended if you don’t use a dedicated cart page and you have a Free Product Choice offer active, so that customers can select their preferred gift.
When hidden, Free Product Choice gifts still appear on the cart page so customers can select their gift before checkout. At this time, selection in the cart drawer/mini-cart isn’t supported.
