You have the option to choose when you would like the Gift Box pop-up window to open on your website.
To achieve this, follow these steps:
Open the Gift Box application in your store's Shopify admin.
2. Navigate to the Settings tab.
3. Scroll down to the Gift Box Behavior section, and under Auto-Open Settings, choose your preferred options by enabling the checkboxes below. By default, all three options are checked. You can also set a delay, in seconds, for Gift Box to wait after its first load before opening the pop-up window.
4. Click the Save button to apply the changes.
How to hide the Gift Box pop-up from your website
Using the hiding feature is not recommended for stores that do not use the cart page to add products and simultaneously have an active Free Product Choice type of offer
To hide the entire pop-up, you can simply uncheck this option on your app settings in the “Gift Box Behavior” section.
This feature allows you to hide Gift Box anywhere on your website except for gifts that are currently set to as Free Product Choice. If your store offers gift choices from the app and at the same time you choose the app to be hidden, the pop-up for the gift options will be shown on your cart page. That way, customers can still choose the gift that they are qualified for before proceeding to checkout.
(Note: For Free Product Choice gifts, customers can only select their gifts on the cart page and not on a website’s cart drawer or mini-cart section at this time)
