To pause (i.e. make it inactive and invisible to the customers) the free gift go to the app dashboard and move the toggle of the specific gift from green to grey.

To completely delete the free gift, go to the app dashboard and click on the specific tile (line) in the Your Gift Box section. You should get into Gift Setup and at the bottom of the page, there is a red button called Delete Gift. Click on it and confirm.
