The Last Upsell app takes the information from your store and displays it according to it. It means it will show information based on your real-time stored data.

If one of the products that you have chosen as an upsell item for your customers is out of stock, Last Upsell won’t show it on the application unless the product has the “Continue selling when out of stock” option is enabled.

To enable/disable the option, you will need to go to your product page and scroll down to the Inventory section. From there, you can mark or unmark the checkbox, according to your preferences:

Please also note that when you are adding out of stock products to the upsell offer, the application will display a message to let you know the product is not available:

The application will not allow you to Save and Activate the offer.

Also, when an upsell product’s inventory has been exhausted while the offer is active, the app will stop offering the upsell in the pop-up. Here are a couple of scenarios that can happen when an upsell product gets out of stock:

  • If there are active offers other than the one of the upsell that went out of stock, the app will automatically stop displaying that one offer. Other active offers will still display.

  • If said offer is the only active offer in the store, then the whole Last Upsell pop-up will not show.
