Why use App embed over the current ScriptTag method?
First of all, the current ScriptTag method is fine. Candy Rack will be working in the same way as with App embed. The main benefit of the App embed block is the control - in Theme Editor; you can easily turn code insertion on/off and have full control over displaying the pop-up.
You can easily switch between 2 methods and choose the one you prefer.
How do you enable the "app embed" method?
1️⃣ If you have such a theme published, go to Apps –> Candy Rack - One Click Upsell –> Settings, and at the very bottom of the page you can Enable the app embed method:
2️⃣ Afterwards, the app embed is enabled for your theme. Make sure to Save the changes in the Theme editor:
The app embed is successfully enabled!
You can easily turn the app on or off on your store using the toggle in the Theme settings –> App embeds.
