Duplicate leads can be merged directly in Funnel

Sometimes duplicate data can occur in Funnel. This might be because a parent has entered their child's full name in one form and a shortened version in another. Or, perhaps, they entered a typo into their email address, maybe someone accidentally submitted the wrong birth date (it happens).

The good news is that you can easily merge those duplicates in Funnel. But, it's important to ensure that you're selecting the right leads because merging is permanent and irreversible!

Once you've confirmed that there are duplicate leads in your Funnel, there are two ways you can merge them:

1. From the leads table you can select the checkbox alongside their name then select merge from the bulk edit options.

2. From the lead details page select merge from the more dropdown in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

The most recent data will be stored for the merged lead. If you would prefer a particular value to be the live date for that field, once merged you can review the revision history, copy the data and enter the preferred value into that field.

Note: This is not merging families, the above is for merging the same leads only.
