Key Improvements:
3.7% Increase in Total Features: Compared to the previous version, this update brings greater detail and precision across the board.
State-Specific Updates:
NSW: 10% growth in mapped features, the most significant increase.
VIC: 1.8% increase.
NT: 2% increase.
WA & TAS: 1% increase.
QLD: 0.3% increase.
Refined Boundary Data: Boundary information has been meticulously refined for improved accuracy.
Misclassification Corrections: Earlier vendor misclassifications have been resolved, ensuring a more reliable dataset.
SA Comparison Example:
In the updated layer for a portion of SA:
496 outdated or inaccurate ‘Water body’ objects were removed to ensure reliability.
468 new ‘Water body’ objects were added, reflecting real-world conditions with greater accuracy.
