Adding land photos to your appraisal reports helps bring visual context to your assessments. Follow the steps below to successfully upload and organize your photos within the Land Values section of your report.
Step 1: Select or Create Your Custom Farm
You can choose your custom farm in a few different ways:
Select an existing custom farm:
Left-click on the farm boundary outline directly on the map.Find your saved farm:
Navigate to your Custom Farm Folder and select the relevant farm.Create a new custom farm:
Left-click inside a black-outlined property boundary to select it.
In the Property Information Panel (on the left-hand side), click the Build button at the top.
Use Shift + Left Click to add or remove additional rateable boundaries to shape your custom farm as needed.
Step 2: Open or Create Your Report
Once your custom farm is selected:
Navigate to the Reports tab within the Property Information panel.
Choose one of the following:
Create a New Appraisal Report
Select an Existing Appraisal Report (if adding photos to a previously created report)
Copy & Update a Previous Report (to generate an updated snapshot while keeping your original report intact, this can be done by clicking the 3 dots in the top right hand corner of a report card then a dropdown of options will be presented which has the copy types)
Step 3: Navigate to the Land Values Section
Once your report is open in the Report Builder Panel (right-hand side), scroll down to the Land Values section.
Click the > arrow to expand the section
Step 4: Upload Your Photos
Click the Gallery button.
Click Upload.
You now have three ways to upload your photos:
Drag and Drop: Drag image files directly into the upload window from your computer.
Choose Files: Click the hyperlink to open your file browser and select images.
Scan the QR Code: Upload directly from your phone by scanning the QR code.
✅ Uploaded photos will display a small green tick once successfully uploaded. If using the QR upload, your phone will confirm when the images have been sent.
Step 5: Organise and Add Notes to Your Photos
After uploading, click the X at the top-right of the upload window to return to the gallery view.
Add Commentary:
Hover over a photo to reveal the Notes icon (speech bubble). Click to enter any relevant comments or descriptions for that photo. These notes will appear beneath the image in the final report.
Step 6: Generate or Preview Your Report
When your photos are uploaded and organised:
Click Preview Report to view the draft version, or
Click Generate Report to finalise.
Photos added to the Land Values section will appear in their own dedicated section, separate from the land values calculations and comparable sales, ensuring they are clearly visible.
