Customising the Property Report with Near-by Sales
Updated over 3 years ago

The DAS 1-Click Property Report is customisable. You can edit the generated data and input your own. Below is a workflow describing how to edit the fields of the report and add nearby sales.

To start off with you'll need to locate and select your subject property. This will open up the property panel on the left of the mapping screen which is the content that will make up your Property Report. You'll then need to build and save your Custom Farm. Clicking the 'Build' button will open up the parcel panel on the right of your screen showing all the parcels that make up your subject property. If need be, this is how you'll manually add or remove parcels of land to and from your subject property.

This link goes into more detail on the purpose behind Building A Custom Farm

Once built and saved you'll now have the option to click the 'More' button and then 'Create Property Report' which will open the report and all the relevant fields on the right of your screen.

You now have the ability to change the title of your report which will appear on the front page. You can completely remove fields that may not be relevant to you by clicking the blue checkbox in front of each field. Any field with an arrow to the right of it is editable:

  • Overview

  • Location

  • Near-by sales

  • Structures

Editing and adding data to these fields will only be saved against your report and not the DAS database. The report automatically saves for you to come back and work on whenever need be.

You can add near-by sales to your report in two ways. You can create a sale analysis against a property of interest prior and then manually add it by opening the near-by sales field and then 'Alt' clicking the sale analysis pin on top of the property.

Please search for the article on how to build a sale analysis if you aren't sure about the workflow.

You can also click the 'Find Sales' button to filter for sales similar to your subject property. All sales that match your filter criteria will be generated in a white highlighted colour. Select one to open up the property panel and navigate to the Sales section to view the sales attached to the property. Hovering over a sale ticket will highly the property in yellow and clicking the orange 'add near-by sale' button will cause it to flow into the report.

You can simply remove near-by sales by clicking the 'X' at the right of the sale ticket in the report.

At the bottom of the report panel you have the ability to preview your work. If you are happy with how it is looking click 'Generate Report' and a PDF version of the report will be emailed to you within minutes.

You can retrieve and edit your report by navigating to your work folder which is the little briefcase icon located at the top left-hand corner of the screen. Make sure to click on the reports section within your work folder and not the Custom Farm section.
