Customizing Sales Filters in DAS

This article will guide you through all the ways you can filter sales data within DAS to suit your needs. Before adjusting the sales filters, make sure you have the appropriate layers enabled. This guide covers the various filter options and types of sales pins available. Below, you'll find an image showing the layers icon, where you can select the layers relevant to your use case.

Accessing Sales Filters

Once you’ve enabled the necessary layers, navigate to the Filters tab. In the image below, you’ll see where to locate the Filters button in DAS. This tab allows several filtering options:

  1. Toggle Switch: The switch at the top allows you to enable or disable your selected filters as needed.

  2. Filtering Tabs: There are three filtering tabs—Sales, Sales Pins, and Appraisal Pins—each with an eye icon you can toggle on or off to control visibility for each filter type.

We’ll walk through each of these tabs below.

Sales Filtering

In the Sales tab, you’ll find options to filter sales data by year. As shown in the image below, you can select the years for Valuer General sales. If the year has a checkmark beside it, those sales are currently visible on the map. To view sales data older than three years, click on "More Options." To the left of each year, you’ll see the color representing that year's sales on the map.

You can also refine the sales by the following criteria:

  • Area (ha): Set minimum and maximum hectares.

  • Price Sold: Set minimum and maximum sale prices.

  • Price per Hectare ($/ha): Set minimum and maximum values for price per hectare.

Sales Pins Filtering

The Sales Pins tab provides options to filter pins based on workflow needs. Like the Sales tab, you can filter by Area (ha), Price Sold, and Price per Hectare. Additionally, Sales Pins includes options for:

  • Types of Sales Pins: Select which types of pins to display based on your workflow.

  • Custom Fields: Filter by custom fields created by your company’s admin. For instance, a custom field named "Property Categories" may have different options that can be assigned to sales or pins. Learn more about custom fields in this article.

Appraisal Pins Filtering

The Appraisal Pins tab allows for filtering only by Area (ha). This option lets you specify the minimum and maximum hectares for Appraisal Pins.

With these filter options, you can customize your view in DAS to better match your workflow and data needs.
