If you haven't received your DAS report via email, there are a few potential reasons why. This article outlines common causes and how to resolve them.
1. Report Size Limitations
DAS reports can be quite large, especially when they contain multiple photos. There is a 128MB file size limit for report generation. If a report exceeds this limit, it will fail to generate, preventing the email from being sent.
Solution:
Reduce the number of photos attached to the report, as this is the primary cause of large file sizes. While DAS automatically compresses images to optimize report size, having too many photos can still exceed the 128MB limit, preventing the report from generating successfully.
2. Email Filtering or Delays
In some cases, email providers may filter the report email into your spam or junk folder, or there may be a delay in delivery, especially for larger reports.
Solution:
Check your spam or junk folder for the report email.
Allow at least 10 minutes for larger reports to generate and be delivered.
If you still haven’t received it, try regenerating the report and double-check that your email address is entered correctly.
3. DAS Server Status and Downtime
Very rarely server issues or maintenance may impact report generation and email delivery.
Solution:
Check the top of your DAS interface for any banner notifications about outages or server issues.
If DAS is experiencing an outage, report generation will be unavailable until the issue is resolved. You will have to wait until it comes back online
