Digital Surge supports two main ways to deposit AUD into your account: PayID and Standard Bank Transfers. Each method has its own advantages, so you can choose the option that works best for you.
PayID
Fast and free
PayID deposits usually arrive within 60 seconds and there are no fees.
First-time deposits
Your bank may delay your first PayID transfer for up to 24 hours as a security precaution. Once your first deposit is cleared, future deposits should arrive instantly.
Simple and convenient
PayID removes the need for BSB and account numbers, making transfers easier and more secure.
For step-by-step instructions, see our PayID Deposit Guide.
Standard Bank Transfers
A reliable alternative
Ideal for customers whose banks do not support PayID.
Processing times
Standard transfers typically take 1 to 2 business days to arrive. If your bank supports fast transfers through OSKO or NPP, your deposit may be near instant.
To learn how to set up a bank transfer, see our Standard Bank Transfers Guide.
Important Notes
Account matching
All deposits must come from a bank account in the same legal name as your Digital Surge account. Third-party deposits will be rejected.
Joint accounts
You can deposit from a joint bank account as long as your name appears on the account.
Bank verification checks
Your bank may contact you to confirm the transfer. Simply verify the transaction when prompted as this is a normal security check.
Minimum deposit
The minimum amount you can deposit is $20.
Why we do not accept credit cards
We do not support credit card deposits due to the higher risk of fraud associated with this payment method.
Third-party deposits
If a deposit is received from someone else’s bank account, our team will contact you to arrange a return to the original sender.
