Smart Drop + is a bot to let you drop up to 1000 documents at 1 time, as long as they are same Doc Type in a ZIP File, like "Registrations" or DOT Inspections".
Your names of the files do not matter at all, the BOT will check the document, and locate information on page 1 of each document. This can be PDFs the best, but it can do other JPG, and PNG files also.
For Equipment ( Vehicle and Trailer ) it will look for VIN # or Unit # to try to locate the proper equipment to attache the document to.
For Driver it will look for License # to locate the correct driver.
If equipment or driver is not found, document will be in review tab.
Refresh Documents page to see report, about your files once upload is complete. This might take few minutes to complete if you have 100s of documents.
Open Documents.
Open Smart Drop + (Top Right Corner Menu)
Drop a Zip Files. ( Make sure to select all files and zip, NOT Folder )
Select Type.
Registration, Permit, DOT Inspection, CDL, Medical Card.
Registration
Expiry Date Required = Yes, No
Yes= It will look for it, if not found, document will go review.
No= It will look for it, if not found, document will go to all tab, no expiry will be set.
Model = Driver, Vehicle, Trailer ( This case Vehicle or Trailer )
Type = Set Document Type from system ( This case Registration )
Description = Enter something specific to help you find it, like "Registration 2025"

Permit
Expiry Date = Set Fixed Date for all permits, or leave empty. Typical permits end on same date.
Model = Driver, Vehicle, Trailer ( This case Vehicle or Trailer )
Type = Set Document Type from system ( Any type you have set ) like "NY Permit"
Description = Enter something specific to help you find it, like " NY Permit 2025 "

DOT Inspection
Expiry Date = ( BOT will find date of inspection, and set +1 Year as expiry date. )
Model = Driver, Vehicle, Trailer ( This case Vehicle or Trailer )
Type = Set Document Type from system ( FHA Inspection )
Description = Enter something specific to help you find it, like " FHA Inspection "

CDL
Expiry Date = ( BOT will find expiry date. )
